TRUK Accelerator: Empowering Cleantech Startups for Global Impact

The TRUK Accelerator is an international programme born from a partnership between NEOHUB, Oxtech Ventures, and Oxentia. Its mission is to help cleantech and sustainability startups grow beyond their borders, providing them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive.

What Makes TRUK Accelerator Special?

The programme is thoughtfully structured to give startups the best chance of success. It begins with four months in Türkiye, where local mentors guide participants through the early stages of their journey. After this, the focus shifts to the UK for a further five months, with Oxentia leading the way. This two-phase approach ensures that startups receive both local insight and international expertise.

How We Support Startups

Oxentia played a key role in selecting the participating startups and delivering a five-month programme packed with valuable experiences, including:

• Personalised one-to-one mentoring for every startup.
• Five online training sessions focused on pitching and expanding into the UK market.
• Bespoke support, allowing each startup to choose a consulting service tailored to their needs—such as refining their pitch deck, conducting market research, or analysing stakeholders.
• An eight-day residential event in the UK, featuring training, networking, a pitch showcase in London, and a visit to Oxford.

Real Impact: The Agroveech Story

Nine startups have already benefited from the TRUK Accelerator. One standout is Agroveech, whose co-founder, Dr Ali Furkan Kamanlı, attended the UK residential event. With the support of mentor Sam Conway, Ali explored the agricultural landscape in Gloucestershire and met with potential partners. This trip led to Agroveech forming partnerships with Hartpury University’s Digital Innovation Farm and Gloucestershire Agritech. Now, Ali and the Agroveech team are preparing to establish a UK base and seize the new opportunities they’ve discovered.
