Dr. Steve Cleverley

Steve is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Oxentia Ltd. He is also managing director of Oxentia Europe SL and a director of the Oxentia Foundation.

Steve joined Isis Enterprise, the innovation management consulting division of Isis Innovation in 2011 as a senior consultant and became head of the group in 2014. In 2017, he led the management buy-out of the division to form Oxentia Ltd and commenced his role as CEO. Under his leadership, Oxentia has continued its strong international growth, now having worked in over 70 countries and developed new training and consulting offerings across its Higher Education, Corporate and Government sectors.

Steve has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and product development, developing market entry strategies and launching new products and services. A significant amount of Steve’s work has been for government agencies and SMEs in the UK and abroad. He has directed and managed several strategically important programmes including the creation of a new private university in Oman Muscat, development of university feasibility plans in Guernsey and Vietnam, international accelerator programmes in Malaysia, the Middle East and Latin America, and corporate challenge-based programmes for a multinational bank. Steve has also led and served as a coach and trainer on the multiyear partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leaders in Innovation programme.
