At Oxentia, Sophie is responsible for providing programme management and consultancy services for a variety of clients. Most recently, Sophie has been involved in a CCF-RED funded project aiming to establish a shared Technology Transfer Office across seven universities with a particular focus on enhanced spinout creation and support. Sophie is responsible for management of the Santander X Global Challenges, a global entrepreneurship competition delivered by Oxentia on behalf of Banco Santander. Sophie also supports the ASPECT network, a membership organisation of about 40 UK and international universities looking to promote best practice in commercialisation of the Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. She also works on consultancy projects, mainly focused on policy review and optimisation for UK universities.
Sophie has a background in environmental and climate change law, specialising in issues revolving around regulation of oceanic carbon dioxide sequestration, international climate change litigation, including funding, and the interface of intellectual property rights, environmental law, and biodiversity issues.
