Huw joined Oxentia in August 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of research and impact. His career has been dedicated to ensuring that groundbreaking research and innovation reach the people and places where they can make a meaningful difference.
Originally an academic with a focus on impact, Huw’s academic background spans anthropology and geography. In 2019, he joined UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), where he progressed to the post of Deputy Director at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). There, he led the innovation, business engagement, and commercialisation portfolio.
