Dr. Frank Wong

Frank brings a strong interdisciplinary background in Bioengineering and Chemistry, with particular expertise in technology commercialisation, entrepreneurship, valuation,  fundraising, and data analytics. He works closely with early-stage ventures, helping them prepare for key business transactions. This includes strategic advisory support across licensing, partnerships, and investment readiness.

At Oxentia, Frank leads the firm’s Valuation Offerings. He has a deep understanding of valuation methodologies, particularly from a technology transfer perspective. This allows him to develop approaches that are tailored and appropriate for tech transfer offices (TTOs) or deep tech startups. He co-authored a spinout valuation guidebook commissioned by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), designed to support technology transfer professionals in setting up best practices in valuation. He has also developed an advanced data analytics model to assess international research activity, supporting the Wellcome Trust’s funding strategy and decision-making.

Outside of Oxentia, Frank is an Investment Associate for KIATT, a Spanish family office, in venture capital investment across deep tech sectors.
